Unlike the more classical Nanakshahi Rabab, the Afghani Rabab has a rugged, folk-like character; its voice is bold, resonant and deeply emotive.

Known for its deep, percussive tone and earthy resonance, the Afghani Rabab is carved from a single block of mulberry or walnut wood, with a goatskin-covered soundboard and a gut-stringed setup that gives it a uniquely organic and rhythmic voice. It is ideal for Puratan Kirtan, folk-style compositions and meditative Raag exploration. This majestic premium edition comes with royal, fine-detailed carving/kadhayi.
