My Journey So Far
Year 2018
I had the privilege of singing the Shabad “Poota Mata Ki Asees” for the animated movie Supreme Motherhood: The Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur. This Shabad plays during the childhood scenes of Baba Jassa singh Ji Ahluwalia, who later became a Jathedar of the Panth.
This movie won 12 international awards and became the first Indian movie to get showcased at the British Parliament (England) in July 2022. I am so grateful to have sang a Shabad for this movie.
Year 2019
Formed Nihal Kirtani Jatha
At the age of 9, me and friends formed a Kirtani Jatha. It was a lot of fun and also a lot of hard work. We started performing Kirtan and bilingual Katha in Punjabi and English. With the Kirpa of Akaal Purakh Waheguru, we were among the world’s youngest Jathas to go on full tours to perform Kirtan at Gurdwaras in the UK, Australia and India.

Nihal Kirtani Jatha did 40+ Diwans and perfomed Kirtan at more than 36 Gurdwaras all over the UK. Other than Hajri in Shaheedi Jorh Mele at various Gurdwaras, we also did Kirtan in tents and outdoors to feel the love for Sikhi that the Chotte Sahibzade and Mata Gujri Ji must have felt when they were imprisoned at the Thanda Burj (Sirhind, Punjab) during the final days of their lives in 1704. It was an amazing experience to perform Kirtan in freezing conditions and made me appreciate Sikh history even more.

Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib Kirtan Parchar tour (Nanded)
Merciful Baaja Vale Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee blessed Nihal Kirtani Jatha by taking Kirtan Sewa at the Takhat of Love and Bairaag - Sri Hazur Sahib - and all the historical Gurdwaras around. It was an unforgettable experience. Hazur Sahib is one of my favourite places where I feel a deep connection to Dashmesh Jee.
From Kirtan at Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib to Gurudwara Nagina Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Hira Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Mata Sahib Deva Jee, Gurudwara Shikar Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Banda Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Langar Sahib, Gurudwara Sangat Sahib, Gurudwara Mal Tekri Sahib, the tour was completely awe-inspiring. Dhan Dhan Kalgiyan Vale Patshah!
Year 2020
Sri Anandpur Sahib Kirtan Tour
We felt so at home when we spent one full week at “Anand-di-puri” doing Kirtan Seva. I felt extremely blessed by Dayalu Kirpalu Kalgidhar Patshah for showering us with so much Prem and Pyaar during this soul-nourishing tour. In total, we did 12 Diwans including Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Gurudwara Sisganj Sahib, Gurudwara Bhora Sahib, Gurudwara Shaheedi Bagh, Gurudwara Guru Ka Mahal, Kila Taragarh Sahib, Kila Holgarh Sahib, Kila Lohgarh Sahib and Kila Anandgarh Sahib. I loved every minute of it!

Year 2021
Special Kirtan Program at Takhat Sri Patna Sahib
It was an amazing start to the year when Nihal Kirtani Jatha got invited to perform at the 353rd Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaj at Takhat Sri Patna Sahib (Bihar). We received 20 minutes of stage time at one of the biggest international annual programs celebrating Parkash Purab of Kalgidhar Maharaj Jee at their Parkash Bhoomi.
It was an absolute dream come true for me. As the youngest Jatha, we shared the stage with the jewels of the Sikh Panth, including Bhai PinderPal Singh Ji and Jathedars of the other Takhat Sahibs from Punjab. We also performed at Gurudwara Ghao Ghat Sahib, Kangan Ghat Sahib, Guru Ka Bagh, Handi Sahib, Bal Leela Sahib, Guru Nanak Sheetal Kund (Rajgir).
Year 2021
Anand Karaj smagam
Nihaal Kirtani Jatha was invited and became the youngest Jatha (aged 11) to perform Chaar-Lava da Kirtan at the Anand Karaj of Tajinderjit Kaur, whom we lovingly know as ‘Action Maasi’. It was an amazing and unique experience. I felt very blessed to have this opportunity. At first, I was nervous because I had never performed at an Anand Karaj before, but then I felt Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Ram Das Jee’s presence around me, giving me courage. It was pure bliss, and the Sangat gave us blessings afterwards.

Year 2022
Kirtan Tours in UK and Austrailia
In the first half of 2022, Nihaal Kirtani Jatha was invited by Sangat to do Kirtan Diwans in the UK (mainly in London and Leicester). In the second half of the year, we went on our first tour to the land of Kangaroos, covering the three major cities of Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
As the first time I had ever visited Australia, it was an amazing and memorable experience which I’ll cherish forever. We spent almost 2.5 months in Australia, where we did more than 50 Diwans at various Gurdwara Sahibs and Sangat’s homes.

Year 2023 and 2024
Kirtan Tours in India (Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Sri Paunta Sahib and Nanded)
Nihaal Kirtani Jatha started gaining popularity and getting bookings all around India, with the grace of God, including historical Gurdwara sites. Within the two-year period, I was blessed to do more than 80 Diwans in India, doing Sewa of Gurshabad Parchar via Raag Kirtan using traditional classical instruments. Shukrana Waheguru Jee!
Year 2025
Nihaal Kirtani Jatha was invited back to Australia by the Sangat, to celebrate Vaisakhi and other Gurpurabs during a 6-week Kirtan Parchar tour. We did Kirtan and Parchar in the 3 major cities of Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
We performed in a total of 45 Diwans, including Raag Darbars. Along the way, we met lots of young Khalsa and made new friends.
