At Guru ke Saaj (Nihal Music Shop), we understand that musical instruments are not just products—they are delicate pieces of art. We take immense pride in ensuring that your instruments are packed with the highest level of care and shipped securely so they arrive in perfect playing condition.

1. Processing and Handling Time

Because many of our traditional instruments (such as Harmoniums, Tablas, Sitars, Dilrubas, etc) require a thorough quality check, professional tuning, and specialized secure packaging before leaving our store:

* Standard Orders: Placed items are typically processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days.

* Custom or Specially Tuned Orders: Instruments requiring custom tuning or bespoke structural work may take 2 to 4 weeks to prepare. We will provide you with a specific timeline upon order confirmation.

Please note: We do not ship orders on Sundays or major public holidays.

2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

* Couriers: We partner with reliable, premium logistics providers (such as Blue Dart, DHL, Delhivery, DTDC or similar) to handle domestic shipments safely.

* Delivery Timelines: Once dispatched, domestic orders usually arrive within 4 to 7 business days, depending on your location.

* Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are calculated at after final packaging is done based on the weight, dimensions, and delivery destination of the instrument.

3. International Shipping

We proudly ship our sacred and classical musical instruments to musicians worldwide.

* Delivery Timelines: International shipments generally take 7 to 21 business days] for transit, subject to customs clearance procedures in the destination country.

* Customs, Duties, and Taxes: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Guru ke Saaj has no control over these fees and cannot predict what they may be.

4. Packaging and Safety

Instruments are highly sensitive to temperature, humidity, and physical impact. To protect your investment:

* Every instrument undergoes a final inspection and tuning layer by our experts.

* We use heavy-duty, multi-layered bubble wrapping, thermocol padding, and sturdy corrugated boxes.

For highly fragile or premium international shipments, we highly recommend or utilize fibre case packaging to prevent any structural damage during long-distance transit.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been handed over to our shipping partner, you will receive a confirmation email and/or SMS containing a unique tracking number and a link to trace your shipment in real-time.

6. Damages During Transit

We take every precaution possible, but in rare instances, accidents can happen during transport. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure we can protect you:

1. Inspect Immediately: Inspect the exterior packaging upon delivery. If the box is visibly crushed, torn, or damaged, point it out to the delivery courier and note it down on the delivery receipt if possible.

2. Unboxing Video: We strongly advise all customers to record a continuous, unedited video of the unboxing process from start to finish. This serves as critical proof if the instrument inside has suffered transit damage.

3. Report to Us: Any transit damage must be reported to our customer support team within 24 hours of delivery. Please email us your order number, clear photographs, and the unboxing video.
